Svenja, you've been on board for almost exactly a year. Can you please briefly introduce yourself?

Gladly. I'm a qualified hotel manager, I enjoy travelling, getting to know foreign cultures and otherwise prefer to spend my free time with my dog or horse riding. As Back Office Manager at 4PL Central Station, I take care of all my colleagues' HR needs, from onboarding and sick notes to time recording and travel management. Speaking of on board: I spent seven years of my previous career on a ship.

You are also responsible for occupational health and safety in the company. What are your tasks here?

Is fire protection guaranteed? Are the escape routes clear and are the evacuation plans ready for emergencies? But also: Are the lighting conditions right? Are the workstations ergonomically designed? How can stress be reduced and resources conserved? These are all questions that I deal with.

How did you come to 4PL Central Station and what do you like here?

What I particularly like about 4PL Central Station is the pleasant atmosphere and the great willingness to help each other. I already knew the company because I had previously worked in the neighbourhood. I found the job advert on Instagram.
