In 4PL Central Station Deutschland GmbH (4PLCS), Gustav Magenwirth GmbH & Co. KG (MAGURA) has found a strategic partner for their logistics.

By conducting tenders and developing logistics concepts, 4PLCS supports MAGURA’s strategic alignment. In this context, first of all the structure ofLogo 156 MAGURA’s in- and outbound traffic is analysed and optimized. Afterwards, gradually all transportation modes’ services are tendered, always targeting at improving internal processes and reducing freight costs. Furthermore, 4PLCS consults MAGURA’s subsidiary Bike Parts (responsible for MAGURA’s spare parts service and BOSCH’s eBike Systems) with optimizing logistic processes and designing and implementing a new service centre. The re-organization in the field of logistics aims at building sustainable and more efficient processes and reducing lead times in order to make the factor “Logistics” a competitive advantage.

4PL supports Knorr-Bremse in freight cost management

With immediate effect, 4PL Central Station Deutschland GmbH (4PLCS) supports Knorr-Bremse Schienenfahrzeuge GmbH in conducting transport tenders and developing logistic concepts. As part of the assignment, 4PLCS analyses and optimizes the structure of in- and outbound traffics for Knorr-Bremse Group’s subsidiaries in Berlin, Munich, Vienna and Budapest and gradually conducts tenders for all transportation modes’ services. The project includes both European and global routes for road transport, air freight, sea freight and CEP services. Based on a cooperative partnership with Knorr-Bremse, 4PLCS is able to guarantee comprehensive freight cost management.
