Karl Wolny has recently joined 4PL Central Station as Manager Operations Control Tower Germany and Poland. The graduate forwarding agent has around 20 years of experience in logistics, including several years in the 4PL sector. Among other things, he will continue to drive forward activities on the Polish market and the successful Control Tower business.
With the help of digital control towers, 4PLCS manages all of its customers' supply chain partners via a central interface and maps processes such as transport tenders, freight cost checks and damage management in a standardized and automated manner. The integrated transport management system not only ensures maximum transparency, but also enables the calculation of CO2 emissions or the prediction of freight volumes using artificial intelligence.
The 4PLCS business intelligence team, which Moritz Massia (picture above, right) joined at the beginning of the month as a Data Engineer/Supply Chain Analyst, is working intensively on modeling and artificial intelligence. Like Torge Osnabrügge, who has joined the Continuous Improvement team as a project manager, Moritz Massia has also successfully completed his three-year dual study program in logistics management at 4PLCS. Congratulations and welcome to the team!
